JINAN, China - April 17, 2026 - Shanghai Houyao Test Equipment Co., Ltd. (HOUYAO), a premier manufacturer of environmental and reliability testing equipment, proudly participated in the 2026 North China New Energy and Modern Power System Advanced Technology Seminar. Held from April 16-17 at the Kempinski Hotel Jinan, the event was co-organized by industry authorities including TÜV Rheinland Greater China, the Shandong Institute of Product Quality Inspection, and the Shandong Energy Storage Society.
As a member of the China Standard Committee for Materials and Testing (CSTM), HOUYAO was invited to deliver a keynote speech during the "Photovoltaic and Energy Storage Advanced Technology" sub-forum on April 17. The presentation focused on the engineering implementation and strategic breakthroughs for environmental testing products in the energy storage sector.
As the energy storage industry scales rapidly, large-capacity Battery Packs, Energy Storage Containers, and high-power Power Conversion Systems (PCS) are pushing the boundaries of safety verification. HOUYAO's representative bypassed standard technical parameters to directly address the "pain points" faced by frontline laboratories: the extreme engineering challenges of replicating rigorous standards (such as GB 44240 and GB/T 36276) within testing chambers as products become larger and operating conditions more volatile.
To alleviate the "safety anxiety" of test engineers, HOUYAO showcased its systematic safety protection and environmental control architecture, featuring three core technical breakthroughs:
Utilizing infrared thermography for millisecond-level detection and intervention, linked with advanced fire suppression systems to prevent explosions before they occur.
Active suppression of condensation at the source, eliminating the risk of short circuits and ensuring environment stability.
Employing Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to design precision airflow channels that strip away thermal boundary layers, restoring a realistic temperature field while safeguarding assets through active defense.
Furthermore, HOUYAO shared its "engineer-friendly" designs, including military-grade EMI shielding, matrix-style airtight wall-penetrating panels, and heavy-duty flush flooring (capable of supporting >3 tons/m²) for seamless logistics.
The seminar also served as a platform to highlight HOUYAO's robust global footprint. Currently, HOUYAO's ultra-large walk-in environmental chambers and container-level testing platforms have been successfully deployed to leading laboratories in the United States, Italy (Enel Group), Japan, and India. The company continues to maintain close strategic cooperation with international certification bodies such as TÜV Rheinland.
