Houyao Supplies IEC 61215-Compliant Equipment for Indonesia’s Third-Party PV Module Testing Laboratory, Scheduled for Operation in 2026

Shanghai Houyao Test Equipment Co., Ltd. has been awarded the contract to supply a complete set of testing equipment for a third-party PV module testing laboratory in Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia. The laboratory is scheduled to be fully operational in 2026, providing comprehensive testing services in compliance with IEC 61215 standards for PV module manufacturers across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

As the exclusive turnkey equipment supplier for this project, Houyao’s scope of supply will cover reliability, environmental stress, and performance testing, including:

• Thermal Cycling Chamber, Damp Heat Chamber, UV Aging Chamber, Hail Impact Tester

• IV Curve Tester, Insulation Resistance & Dielectric Strength Tester, Power Analyzer

• Mechanical Load Tester, Wet Leakage Tester, Current Continuity Monitoring System

Once established, the laboratory will:

• Enhance Indonesia’s PV industry with an authoritative testing platform

• Serve the Southeast Asian market, supporting the region’s clean energy transition

• Demonstrate Houyao’s international project delivery capability, reinforcing the company’s reputation in the global PV testing industry

As a participant in the formulation of national PV testing standards in China, Houyao has been deeply engaged in the R&D and manufacturing of PV testing equipment. This project marks another milestone in the company’s international engagement, following multiple key laboratory projects in China.
